Surfers lose bid to save popular Ensenada surfing spot

KPBS SAN DIEGO (2005-07-12) San Diego big wave surfers are mourning the destruction of a surfing spot know as Harry's near Ensenada Mexico. KPBS Reporter Erik Anderson has details.Construction linked to a Sempra energy Liquefied Natural Gas terminal has apparently destroyed a big wave surfing spot along the Baja California coast. Wildcoast spokesman Serge Detina says the energy company is building a jetty in the exact location where the waves break.
